September… Wow, how time flies. It’s been a little over a year since… the craziness started. There have been quite a few ups and downs but what an interesting year. I have always travelled with one underlying theme, visiting friends or family and this November trip isn’t much different. I have never travelled because I wanted to see certain sights, because it has always been because I wanted to see certain people. I remember going to NY City for a weekend just to see a Chris and Martina in a tennis tournament, going to Bedford to visit my grandparents and ending up playing MJ with them half the time and not step outside of the house except for an occasional dinner out or going to Boston so I can hang out with my little sister from the sorority and for just the heck of it drive down to Atlantic City for a day when we were actually going to Cape Cod. Impulsive? Definitely… a resounding YES!
Family and friends think I am crazy to be taking this trip alone with no other purpose than to finally meet the people that I have had the privilege to get to know because of OP. Honestly, at one point, I wished I was there last year when… it was less complicated and the fever was still at it’s peak, but now… the “friendships” that lasted this long is a bit more precious. I am thinking, “If I don’t go and meet these girls, I will live only to regret it.” (Who knows what would or could happen in future? Haha!)
Life is fragile… live the life that you want even if it is a moment in time, my friend!
