Here’s one of the best kept secrets of Hawai’i. The Byodo-in temple built in 1968. A replica of the same Byodo-in Temple in Uji, Japan built over 900 years ago.
I love this place. I used to take bread with me and go there to feed the birds. Hold up a piece of bread and they would fly right to it and eat it right there. So many memories here…

I was seven when I first “rang” this bell… I could barely reach the pole. Rang it every single time when I went there.
The kois, so many of them. When you throw fish food in there, they just kind of flop all over each other. Use to make me think… Now, that it is a fighting for a living.

Yes, I am such a kid at heart. One comment and I am floating on cloud nine! If my friends would see me now, they’d think I’m a little bit crazy and need a life! It could be true but I don’t care! Haha! Hopefully, I can sit back and enjoy the rest of the show… since she did mention it will be her last television show.

I admit that there could be quite a few contradictions on how someone may perceive me, especially through the internet. Heck, sometimes I am even confused myself. These past few months, I have been told many times that I am too sensitive but am I? Am I not logical enough? What fun is life if ones action is based mostly in logic? I think I have drawn a faint line between sensitivity and logicality. Life is too short to always be processing data and figuring out which and what is best for me but life is too long to throw all caution to the wind without thinking of consequences. Therefore, on certain things… I will embrace with all my “senses” and others… the brain can decide. That’s one of the reasons why I can pick myself up time after time.
Note: Friendships, whether they are intimate or not, is one thing that should not be processed by the human brain… there’s too much garbage in there. (At least in mine, there is.)
