… three precious weeks, day 19

This was an eventful day!  I got up and saw that 菜菜 had woken up before me and had started packing her things already.  I went downstairs and was on my way over to the 7-11 to buy coffee and ran into 00.  I got my coffee and 00 got herself a bottle of water.  By the time we got back, 菜菜 was on her way down.  We were still a bit early so we went to a diary café and this is the day that 00 had water all over her jeans because she didn’t realize that bottle of water had a defective cap!  Ooh.. boy… and we were to meet up with NN & $2 to have lunch with Muse and her friend, Kit!  Luckily, her jeans dried pretty quickly and we got to the luncheon place on time.  Yowee… I was going to see Muse again!  I was prepared this time!  I asked NN to bring me the gift that she had brought me… a “scrap” book/album so I can have Muse’s autograph.  We had lunch in the lounge and practically had the place all to ourselves!!!  My god, she is so beautiful and so nice!  I was so much on cloud nine that I can only remember few of the things we talked about.  After we were finished eating. I took out a couple of pages of the album and asked Muse if she could sign it.  Of course, I asked $2 too.  DSC_0001_0071DSC_0004_0074

Of course, we took pictures too!  With 00’s ultra cool camera!  You see the space between the salutation and the signature?  That is where the photo will be going… By the way, thanks to Kit, we got permanent markers that can actually write on that surface.  There are a snippet or two of conversations I recall.  One is when Muse said “你哋個個都好似在blog上的personality...好sweet”  $2 told her right away “No la!  This one (pointing to me) 呢個好鬼曳架!好鹹架!”  Then $2 pointed to NN and said “呢一個呢...扮文靜!”  I tried to look innocent but couldn’t help but laugh out loud.  Okay… I had that one coming due to the past few days but still… there goes my image even in front of Muse!  The other snippet was when we were standing around saying our goodbyes, I said to Muse “你話唔拍電視劇...咁我係咪要等睇電影先會見到你啊?”   “你再溫畢打啦!”   “吓? 溫咗好多次囉喎!”  “真係?”  “係呀!”  I am so surprise that she seem surprised!  Doesn’t she know there is kind of a cult following for OP?

After a very happy meal we went back to the apartment to get 菜菜’s luggage and went to the bus depot with her to board the bus.  I hoped she had a good time these last few days.  The three of us headed out to the Peak.  When we got there, we walked down a very… deserted path for about 15 minutes and decided to head back.  We went over to the pavilion and took another “professional” photo.  Here it was a more expected pricing but still very inexpensive compared to the States.  Plus 00 still had her camera.  We decided to eat at a restaurant here and silly me, thought “Oh!  Outside terrace would be so nice!”  For the first time in HK, I was COLD!!!  Thank goodness that 00 knew that the restaurant had a supply of “scarfs” for customers.  (It’s more like a blanket to me.)  But a nice cup of cappuccino was an excellent choice to start off with.  Cup of cappucino at the PeakWe also had two dozen oysters… yum yum.   IMG_20101122_190936

One New Zealand rib eye, one angus rib eye and a shrimp pasta.  We all shared the different courses.  When May finally joined us after work, she ordered a pizza.  We sat around admiring the view and I was just reflecting on my entire trip.  Tomorrow will be my last day with the girls and Wednesday morning, I will head back to LV.  Our last stop after dinner was in search of TVB weekly for NN.  We went down to Central again and I think by the 5th 7-11 and Circle K.  We finally found one!  Off to get dessert.  (These girls really do have a sweet tooth!)
