Prepping…

我其實好抗拒文初戲，因為我覺得次次都是描述… one of the most desperate, darkest and corrupt times in Chinese history.  But I guess that’s what make stories interesting, where in the mist of this turbulent era, heroes and heroines are made.  Like most people who know me, they know that 義海豪情 is definitely not my cup of tea.  However, it seems like all the beauties are up in a frenzy about this show… and to have at least some talking points or at least know what the conversation is about in the near future, I watched the first 3 episodes so far.  Ha!  Typical me, the character “排骨”is the one who caught my eye.  What an exasperatingly adorable  wimp!  Talk about being put into a world that is totally foreign to oneself and have no way of coping with the situation.  He has no idea how to cope, no clue as to what he should do, and no matter how hard he tries… he has no direction and seemingly no hope.  He kind of reminds me of the Scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz… definitely needing tons of courage or maybe someone closer to home, like a student going away for college… and finds himself just not the academic type but simply cannot let his family down.    Anyway, I’ve downloaded four and five…
