Friends… they make life much sweeter and warmer.

I grew up with too many rumors to count and yes, I was on many occasion on the blunt end of it.  I have seen it destroy marriages and destroy friendships.  I have learned the hard way to believe in myself and trust what I truly feel.  Even in certain instances, the eyes and ears could be deceiving us, so we have to listen with our hearts.  Friendships are fragile because it doesn’t have the basis of “family” involved.  The saying, “I can choose my friends but I cannot choose my family.”  is so true.  But friendships have their special place in our lives.  Who do you go to if you have a problem with your spouse or boyfriend… Your family?  Not always because you don’t want them to worry.  Your best friend… because she always there for you.  When you want to get together and have a drink… when you just want to chat till the sun rises… they are there.  Why do you think there are such a terms as “boys night out” or “girls night out”… Who do you think of ?  Friends always have a special place in my heart because they make my life sweeter and warmer.
