It’s been 10 years since that devastating morning. So much has changed but this picture helped unite us. The ethnic diversity of the individuals that stood together grieving and bewildered at vigils held all over the country. This one little girl personified the hope of the nation. God Bless America!

I remember exactly where I was when I heard the news. I remember vividly my emotions even if I am foggy on my actions on that fateful day. I cannot erase memory… I will never forget.
Still tear up every time I hear Bette’s performance. I have posted this video last year but I think I will post this next year and every year thereafter. A timeless dedication to those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.
